Little House on the Prairie
I think these are such great books to just have in a classroom library for pleasure reading, but it's neat because it also incorporates history and reveals to students about the Midwest, life living in a log cabin, driving covered wagons, etc. I feel like this would be a big hit with the girls in the class.
